We would all like to swallow just one pill safely free of side effects, that won't let fat molecules stick, that burns off body fat while we sleep, that lets us eat all the pizza, ice cream and cake we want.

If there was such a pill, I can promise you, you could not buy it from a late-night TV infomercial, magazine ad, or off the shelf at your pharmacy. It would be incredibly expensive, owned by a giant pharmaceutical firm and dispensed only by doctors (and be accompanied by a long list of dangerous side-effects).

Be smart and realistic about this. Weight control has to be about eating, not about a pill.
